Great article. Absolutely no way should anyone give any credence to Nate Silver though — or any polls for that matter (self-plug — read my article on that here). I don’t know Silver, probably a nice dude, but far too many relied on his data that said Hilary would win in 2016. I’m not exactly sure how he’s bounced back from that. Memories are short in politics I guess. But being of Irish heritage, I can hold a grudge. In any event, I am also a Warren supporter and I just don’t think we can count her out. What’s chaffing my behind of late (and always) is this idea of “electability”. The data strongly suggests that Trump will win again, so with that said, why not get behind a candidate that actually stands for something? For me, that’s Elizabeth Warren and after last night, I suspect more people will see that too.
