The data strongly suggests he will win a second term. In fact, he may win more electoral votes this time around and lose more of the popular vote. It’s unnerving, to say the least. And to be honest, I’m not sure the word “win” fits. The man has “won” nothing his entire life. It’s been handed to him and he has bungled each one of those things. Every. Single. Time.

HOWEVER, we’re still 14 months out and it’s a bit premature to toss in the towel. I am a firm believer that of the current crop of candidates (and no one else will join at this point…not anyone of substance anyway), it is only Elizabeth Warren who could take Trump on. And I do believe she would. Oh, the joy in seeing a woman verbally take down that man. Fingers are crossed that we can see a former special needs teacher take a special needs president to task. It’s possible.

I’m doing my part…with my eyes open and guarded optimism.
