I just can't with The Doors.

I just can't with The Doors. A couple of songs are ok-ish, but by and large, I take a hard pass on them. Krieger is a great guitar player, Manzerek was insufferable in his man crush of Morrison, Densmore was...well, a drummer. And Jim Morrison? Denis Leary summed it up best about Morrison: "I'm drunk, I'm nobody. I'm drunk, I'm famous. I'm drunk, I'm dead." Now of course that's a joke, but it hit home for me. I just think the band, and Morrison, are wildly overrated. I don't HATE the band, just a really tough one to understand all the accolades they have gotten over the years.
