Apparently, Joe Biden can’t hear her.
Joe Biden has a long history in American politics, that’s no secret. Including two prior stabs at the Oval Office.
Good or bad, his political history is a long one. And while the polls may indicate a lead, look closer — it’s decreasing.
And take an even closer look — Elizabeth Warren is the only candidate who has been steadily increasing. All others have been a little more up and down, but none more than Joe Biden, who has been steadily decreasing since May.
As of this writing his precipitous drop has been a cumulative 15 percentage points. His once 33 point lead of Elizabeth Warren has dropped to 2.2 points.

Among the myriad of things against him, there are three that stand out:
He’s already run twice before and dropped out.
His time to run was 2016, bowing to Hillary was a giant missed opportunity.
This business with Ukraine is not doing him any favors.
On the first, the past is prologue. Nothing more needs to be said.
On the second, running on the heels of a popular president would’ve been the ideal time. Why he acquiesced I don’t know. The backroom dealings of national politics are probably very ugly and messy; much like making sausage — no one wants to see how it’s made.
And lastly, the Ukraine kerfuffle. Well, let’s be honest, did he do anything illegal? Hmmm, no. I don’t believe that and the facts will find that to be true. Joe Biden is many things but dumb is not one of them. If he thought he was doing something illegal, he wouldn’t have done it. Period.
Did he do something unethical? Wellll…ethics and law seldom share the same side of the street…especially in politics. Did Joe Biden perhaps influence a company to put his son Hunter on its board of directors? That’s going to be hard to prove. But the optics of it paint a very suspicious picture.
Furthermore, I suspect the longer he stays in the race, the Republicans and the media will start digging around on his son Hunter, the guy behind all this Ukraine stuff. And even scratching the surface, Hunter’s recent history is dubious:
In 2013, he received an age-related waiver and a second waiver based on previous drug conviction (his father as Vice President may have played a role in that…of course he did) and became an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
One month later, he tested positive for cocaine, which he claims was covertly put in a cigarette. Mmmm-hmm, okay. Given Hunters past, that’s an odd claim.
He started an investment firm with Christopher Heinz, stepson of John Kerry. Heinz terminated his relationship with Biden and the firm due to Biden’s “lack of judgment” and Heinz’s “concerns about corruption in Ukraine and appearances.”
After 22 years of marriage, he left his wife and three daughters for another woman. Fine. Love is odd. People fall in love and out of love. But when the other woman is the widowed wife of your deceased brother, it speaks to questionable acuity.
To say that Hunter Biden lacks good judgment may be an understatement.
In and of themselves, those things are peculiar. Cumulatively, they’re awful.
And that’s just since 2012.
DIG DUG
The more people dig into Hunters business’, and his personal life, I’m certain they’d find more unethical behavior…at the very least. And to think that will not come back to bite Joe Biden and his bid for the big chair would be naive.
And don’t think the Republicans or the media are going to ignore his stint in rehab. To many, addiction is a weakness.
Now, is it fair to hold the sins of the son against the father? Well, when the father appears to have played a part in how his son’s life has shaped up…then, yea, his father is culpable. Was any of this illegal? I sincerely doubt it. That’s not Joe Biden’s modus operendi.
Is it fair to scrutinize Hunter Biden, who is a private citizen? No. He’s not a public official and didn’t sign up for this kind of attention…BUT when you use the influence of your father, well, that’s gonna bring the attention to you (see the previous comment about lack of judgment).
If all of this were me, no one would give a shit. But it’s not. It’s the son of the former Vice President and a pillar of American politics.
That being said, is it unfair to ignore Ivanka Trump, who is a public official? Yes. She is the President of the United States’ daughter and most certainly used that influence for personal gain. How else did she receive five trademarks in one month from China in 2018? For a business that had been shuttered?
I think Joe Biden thought this 2020 campaign was going to be a slam dunk for him. At least to receive the Democratic nomination. And that’s another reason Biden is done, the hubris in that he seemingly felt he was entitled to it. It appears people are beginning to notice and back away.
His fund raising is begging the same precipitous drop as his lead:

For me the Biden slide began a few months ago:

Sure, he’s not Trump…but neither is Messi the pet Puma, an Instagram celebrity(I_am_puma)…and I’m more likely to support a Russian Puma than Joe Biden.
I don’t want another old white man in the White House — sorry Joe, sorry Bernie.
I certainly don’t want another old white man in the White House with questionable ethics. I can’t handle that and I don’t think the country can either.
Partner his slipping in fundraising and the polls with all this Ukraine stuff and his son Hunter’s cumulative recent missteps, the Biden slide has been lubed up and is picking up speed.
The past is prologue. Especially with Joe Biden.
Sorry folks, Biden is not the guy.
