A Story in 100 words.
Carlos and Rachel pulled into the Red River town square. After driving 12 hours, they were exhausted. They got out and walked around.
The first thing Rachel noticed was that people still wore watches.
The second thing she noticed was everyone seemed to know Carlos.
“What’s up with that?,” she asked.
“I grew up here.”
“No. That’s not it.”
Carlos pulled her into an alley walking towards a nondescript entrance: “Come on, let’s go in here.”
They walked in and it got quiet; everyone turned to look at them. Rachel turned to Carlos: “Why do they call it Red River?”
