Learning how to love in 2020. — A story in 100 words.
In the beginning there was anger.
We would fight.
We would verbally punch.
We would make-up.
Then came the pandemic.
Then came the lock down.
There was less space to fight.
We argue, no longer fight.
We discuss, no longer make-up.
We bop, no longer jab.
We’re forced to listen.
Not just hear.
We’re allowed to respond.
Not just react.
We’ve learned to dance.
That truth is romance.
We’ve learned to talk.
And not to squawk.
We are far from perfect.
Most days are still a struggle.
But where there is anger
There is less chance of hate.
