A Story in 100 Words.
Ben stood over the sliver of a man lying in the hospital bed. He was hooked up to a wall of machines that looked like something from some dystopian movie. This is what remained of the man Ben had spent his life fearing.
He wasn’t there for forgiveness; Ben had a purpose.
This was an easy decision. He had made it when he turned 18.
“Someday,” he thought.
Doctors said the man wasn’t in pain but couldn’t guarantee it. This suited Ben — he wanted to believe the fucker was in pain.
He decided to wait until tomorrow, just in case.
