Sorry to double dip. I’d like to get a copy of this album. Can’t find it on Bandcamp or Apple or maybe I’m just not looking right. Can you help?

Not it doesn't appear to be streamable. Not that I could find either. There are used CD's on amazon. I also have the album I could zip up and email it to you, if you like.

Well, that’s really kind of you. I’m going to pay for it. That’s why I went to Bandcamp. Do you know about wetransfer? It’s a free program at least initially for sending large files. I learned about it as I was learning how to use ableton, and we had to send large files to fellow students.

Yep. I am familiar with wetransfer. Its a good service. I'm glad you discovered the artist, I think they're just great.

I agree. What a cool album. I didn’t expect to have a video to which is also pretty cool, but just the combination is killer. Could be a new favorite. Thanks for putting it out there.

What a brilliant song musically, lyrically, creatively. Thanks for sharing this. Must check out Carl's other work.

Never heard of these guys before but I'll have to check out more of their tunes. "Dream" is pretty cool!

I knew EXACTLY what you were referencing with the "earlier today I was in the third person" line! 😁

I'm SO glad someone else knows this song exists! I don't remember exactly where I heard "Dream" for the first time, but my best guess is on the long-defunct NetRadio.com, on their amazing alternative channel "The X." It's possible I saw it earlier on MTV's "Alternative Nation," but I am pretty sure I didn't see the music video until the YouTube era.

Regardless, I'm with you on this song/album being outside my alt-rock wheelhouse. In fact, I'm pretty sure I do not have another song in occasional rotation in my life that prominently features bagpipes. But there's something about this that just breaks through the usual music standards and sticks with you. MGMT did the same thing to me in 2008-2009 with "Oracular Spectacular."

Great write-up!

A kindred spirit! Thanks for the note. I don't even recall where I first heard it, but I was mesmerized. Such great work, I wish we could find out more about him. Thanks again!
