I could not agree more. And I think that set the tone for what followed. However, you and I disagree on the records quality. As good as the first? No. BUT I think "Driving South" (rawk indeed), "Beggin You," "How Do You Sleep," and "Love Spreads," are just fantastic songs. The story of The Stone Roses will be argued about for decades to come, but their influence will last even longer. All solid points man, I just like this record a lot. Not as much as the debut, I admit. And good christ, that opening song here is 100% shit. WTF were they thinking opening an album fans had waited five years for, with that POS song?
