Now here's a name I hadn't heard in a long time. I didn't know their repertoire and you explained it perfectly why :-) but the Cathy's Clown single I remember; It was a minor radio hit in the Benelux.
"No Time To Lose" is indeed a Yacht Rock gem ! Thanks for sharing !
Glad you covered this! Always really liked "No Time to Lose." It's a great track that most people probably don't remember. Love to also hear about his collaborations with Cliff Richard and Leo Sayer. I'm also a big fan of those hits. Did not know he produced "Take On Me" - another classic.
Thanks! I love this song. And yea, I did know that, I mention that in the piece as well. Number one song in most of the Western world... amazing. Where you also a roller skater?
Blimey, that takes me back. I know at one point I owned a TSB record, but I can't remember a single song on it! I DO remember their fine work with Cliff & Leo though, "Living in a fantasy" in particular.
LOL! It's a shame that song never really took off. I recall hearing it as a kid and just loving everything about it. I didn't see the video until many many years later, probably on VH1. I can tell you that TSB record will be on my list for my next crate digging adventure. Thanks for the note!

Ha! I may have roller skated once or twice but that's it!
